Visiting Professor

Professor of Architecture and City History and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture / FH Potsdam. Visiting professor (2010/11) in architectural composition at the Aldo Rossi Faculty of Architecture / University of Bologna. Erasmus teacher in educational and research exchange programs with the Universities of Milan, Bologna, Pescara. Peer review (2012/13) for the evaluation of the scientific contributions of Italian Universities (Ministry of Education University Research). He studied Architecture at the Universities of Dortmund (J. P. Kleihues, until 1983) and Milan (G. Grassi, 1983–84). He collaborates in conferences, catalogues, exhibitions of the Dortmunder Architekturtage (80s), at the Internationale Bauausstellung Berlin and in architectural studios (J.P. Kleihues, J. Stirling).

She was in Milan from 1986 to 1991: international editor of «Zodiac» (G. Canella), teaching (E. Mantero) and research at the Polytechnic (Novecento Milanese / doctorate ETH Zürich, V. Lampugnani, H. Kollhoff). Since 1991 he has studied in Berlin: exhibitions, calls for tenders and publications for public building bodies in Berlin (H. Stimmann) and the federal republic (BBR, F. Mausbach), also curating the architectural annuals «Bau und Raum» 1998 –2006.

Numerous conferences and contributions at universities and architectural orders, especially in Italy. From 2011 under the name Potsdam & l’Italia: conference and bilingual publication The memory of Italy in the architecture of Potsdam, workshop at the Italian Embassy in Berlin, exhibitions with photos by Giovanni Chiaramonte – E.I.A.E. Homage to Potsdam and Homage to Emilia – and Emilia Earthquake research and teaching.
